Graycen is a dedicated young professional with a deep commitment for research and helping others. As a daughter of two military parents, she grew up intimately familiar with the unique challenges and obstacles that military children experience, especially in regards to the frequent changes, moves, and school transitions.
She is a graduate from the University of Virginia with a double major in Psychology and Russian Language and Literature. While at UVA, she was able to spend time as a Research Assistant for the Social Cognition and Behavior Lab, which focuses on diversity studies. This experience sparked a passion for research that has carried over to her post graduate life. Graycen combines her understanding with a rigorous, research-based approach to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those navigating the complexities of military life.
Through both personal experience and professional endeavors, she has found a deep passion for helping others- especially military families. Inspired by the support she has received along the way, she is committed to paying it forward by working to the expand all resources that can make a difference in the lives of military families everywhere
