Dr. Christine Hebert

Christine Hebert has a doctoral degree in Literacy Leadership from Old Dominion University. Additional degrees include an M.Ed. in Special Education, M.A. in Educational Administration, and a B.A. In Childhood Education. Supplementary certifications include an ALTA (Academic Language Therapy Association) certification in Academic Therapy and an NILD (National Institute for Learning Development) Professional Certification in Educational Therapy. As an adjunct professor at Old Dominion University, Dr. Hebert teaches classes in Language Development, Diversity, and Word Study, Phonics, and Linguistics, among others. Currently, Dr. Hebert is a Reading Specialist for Chesapeake Bay Academy in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Past experiences include a regular education and special education teacher in public school and a part-time reading teacher for Catapult Learning.
