Partners in PROMISE is a go-to resource for EFMP family concerns, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. We provide curated resources for our special needs families, while also incorporating our unique military perspectives, as most special education resources do not address our unique challenges.
Our co-founder and Executive Director, Michelle Norman, the 2019 AFI Navy Spouse of the Year is available for virtual speaking engagements. She is a subject matter expert on legal and educational hurdles faced by our EFMP families. Her perspective not only draws from personal experience, but from the data collected in our Military Special Education 2020 Survey.
Chief Operating Officer, Jennifer Barnhill is a Navy spouse, writer and military family advocate. She manages our Content Creation Team as well as spearheads Partners in PROMISE’s annual Military Special Education Survey. She is available to speak about survey findings.
Co-founder, Grace Kim, is an Air Force spouse who obtained her law degree in order to advocate for her child who has special needs. As a special education attorney, she helps insure our content provides an accurate legal perspective to our community.
We are here to help our EFMP parents and children who are struggling and to be a resource for our community.
