Melissa Flynn is a military spouse of 11 years and married to an Army aviator. In her previous life, before becoming a mil-spouse and mother, Melissa worked as a marketing director for a nationwide life insurance company. Melissa also has vast experience in project management and finance. She is currently a business analyst for a medical mergers and acquisitions company. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2006. Melissa has two sons, her oldest is on the autism spectrum. Her youngest is an enthusiastic advocate-in-training and will move mountains one day… if she survives him! A reluctant advocate no longer, Melissa currently serves as a school board member for Fort Campbell schools and has become a point of contact for local special needs parents when it comes to their child’s education.
