Development Director

Reporting to and in partnership with the Executive Director (ED) and COO, the Development Director (Director) will spearhead development efforts as PiP continues to grow. A new position in the organization, the Director will have the opportunity to build the development function.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute PiP’s annual fundraising plan
  2. Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations
  3. Research and implement financial management tracking tool
  4. Responsible for data entry and gift processing
  5. Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors
  6. Creating and executing a strategy for a large sustained base of annual individual donors
  7. Overseeing organization of special events
  8. Developing and tracking proposals and reports for all foundation and corporate fundraising

Qualifications

  • BA (required), MA (a plus)
  • Five-plus years experience in development and/or event management
  • Demonstrated excellence in organizational, managerial, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of fundraising tracking software a plus

Our Vision

Partners in PROMISE serves as a liaison between EFMP military families, military service organizations and public officials, removing educational hurdles placed before military families with exceptional needs children.
